Internationality & Specialization: Marketing or Finance
We offer two thematic specializations: Marketing or Finance. This enables our master’s students to choose their personal focus and thus optimally prepare for their career. In addition, the master’s degree program is characterized by the special focus on leadership skills. An international study trip in the 4th semester and English as the language of instruction complete the program.
Admission requirements
Entrance Requirements for the Master Program
- Completion of a Bachelor or Diploma program (at a university or a university of applied sciences) relevant to the degree program or equivalent post-secondary degree
- Practical work experience
- Good English skills
Requirements Language Level
Applicants, for whom English is not their first language, need to submit evidence that their English language proficiency meets the degree requirements (i.e. CEFR level B2) before the first day of the semester.
The University accepts the following internationally recognized English language certificates
as evidence of applicants’ competence in the English language:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
TOEFL Internet-based Test
Cambridge English exams
Pearson Test of English (PTE)
LanguageCert
The scores achieved by applicants on any of the above-mentioned tests must demonstrate that they have reached the CEFR level B2.
If applicants don´t have one of the above mentioned language certificates, they can submit a letter from a University/a School confirming their language competence at level B2.

Qualification
Master of Arts in Business (MA)
The graduates are able to do the following:
- Broadly apply advanced methods in all fields of marketing and finance management depending on the focus
- Professionally work on real problems from the fields of marketing and finance management by using modern econometric methods
- Use strategic thinking, prepare and carry out strategic actions in a structured manner
- Lead professional discussions on economical science as well as negotiations in English
- Work in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams
Continuing studies
Graduates are awarded the academic degree of Master of Arts in Business (MA). This makes the graduates very well qualified for challenging tasks in the economy.
The masters degree also entitles to enter a doctorate and PhD program at a university or to the Post Graduate Program of Fachhochschule Kufstein Tirol University of Applied Sciences.
A career in research is also open to them.
