After 70 years of existence, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University Bratislava – the most significant and oldest university in Slovakia – belongs to the most prestigious and established pharmacy schools in Central Europe.
Comenius University Bratislava, a modern European university founded in 1919, follows the university tradition of the Academia Istropolitana, which was established in Bratislava by Matthias Corvinus, the Hungarian King, in 1465.
With thirteen faculties, the University offers a wide selection of study programmes in medicine, humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, mathematics, theology, and many more. The University is regularly placed in the international rankings of the best universities in the world.
Comenius University is a research institution that runs hundreds of domestic and international research projects involving students. Every year Comenius University receives up to 3000 international students joining the total number of almost 23 000 undergraduates.
