Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Sciences
The School of Sports and Exercise Sciences opens the doors to research and innovation in the world of sport with its educational model of recognized quality. You’ll receive primarily practical training where you can choose from 11 sporting areas, such as golf, winter sports or outdoor activities that you can only study here.
- We take the health-related role of the sports and physical therapy professional to the most advanced profiles, thus contributing to successful social and professional progress.
- You’ll learn from leading international professionals in the sector who combine teaching with professional and research activities.
- You’ll receive innovative training, with learning based on the case study method, working with professionals from other disciplines, and developing cross-disciplinary skills.
- Subjects are taught at a 35,000 m2 top-level sporting facility and in the most advanced laboratories.
- Study on campus with students from other countries. You can also complete your studies with periods of study abroad or international internships at institutions with a strong reputation for Sports Science such as San Diego State University, the College of New Jersey or Victoria University.
In 2017, a team of Universidad Europea professors and students analyzed the economic impact of the previous year’s Mutua Madrid Open tennis tournament. The analysis, led by professors from Universidad Europea and the Real Madrid – Universidad Europea Graduate School, included the collaboration of 6 professors and 46 students of Sports Management, Sports Science, and Sports Science and Physical Therapy, who will also analyze the impact in 2017. In addition to these figures, the study extracted data on the impact of average spending per spectator (€298.84), generating jobs and social impact (3,713 direct and indirect jobs) and state income (€17.45 million)
