The Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Public Relations program in Geneva will cover the topics vital for succeeding in a company's communications department.

As the business world becomes increasingly digitalized, the communications and public relations spheres have also developed alongside it. This program addresses the various techniques professionals can use to establish and maintain relationships with the target audience

The course is also offered in Barcelona and Montreux.

Admission requirements

  • 1 certified copy of high school diploma and transcripts; or equivalent.
  • Proof of English level: TOEFL score 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based); IELTS 6.0; CAE B2 with a minimum score of 169; PTE 57; English native; or equivalent.

Program delivery

EU is offering maximum flexibility for our Fall Semester to cater to all our students’ needs. We have two options: on campus and online. This will allow you to come to campus or to start online and come to campus when you can. We offer three start dates: October 5, November 2 and November 30.

Health and Safety

Your health and safety remain our highest priority. Class sizes on campus will be reduced, and a strict health protocol followed throughout our campus buildings.

Qualification

Students will learn:

  • In-depth knowledge of the major public relations theories and how they apply to different scenarios.
  • How to create basic communications strategies.
  • How to successfully structure public relations campaigns.

Degree Awarded

Option 1: Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Public Relations

Students completing the EU Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Public Relations program are awarded a degree from EU Business School Switzerland which is internationally accredited by ACBSP, IACBE, IQA and certified by eduQua and a state-recognized university bachelor’s degree (título propio) from Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain.

  • Duration: Six semesters/three years (summer fast-track option available)
  • Credits: 151 CH/210 ECTS

Option 2: Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Public Relations + BSc (Hons) in International Business

By successfully completing one extra semester on our Geneva or Montreux campuses, you will earn a second state-accredited BSc (Hons) in International Business, awarded by the University of Roehampton in London.

  • Duration: Seven semesters/three years (summer fast-track option available)
  • Credits: 172 CH/240 ECTS

Students who wish to further their knowledge in a specialization may take an additional semester and earn a Diploma of Advanced Studies (30 ECTS) which is state-recognized and accredited (título propio) by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain.
