Thousands of our students and alumni are making waves across their professions, with many picking up industry awards (Laus Awards, ADI Medal, DMY International Design Festival Berlin, MODAFAD). Students and alumni have presented their collections at 080 Barcelona Fashion. We have launched the careers of many creative and cultural leaders like Josep Abril, Miriam Ponsa o Ze Garcia. Our renowned industry links mean students have the chance to sharpen their skills in Antonio Miro, Mango, HP or Samsonite workplaces, among others.
ESDi combines a recognised historical building with a cutting-edge technology centre to create a design vibrant community. ESDi University is a unique research and development centre that supports design and innovation through the application
of the latest technology. The Self and 3D printing lab, Virtual Lab, in partnership with HP, and the Textile Making Self-Lab are equipped with the latest technology in the field such as 3D printers, virtual holographic reality and digitalization of textile and fabrication processes.
These three spaces allow our students to experiment with the latest technologies applied to 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality, and pattern digital systems, as well as becoming a R&D centre to develop pilot projects.

Campuses
Sabadell Campus (ESDi):
More than 14,000m² of facilities equipped with all the necessary for the theory and practice of design. The training spaces house computer classrooms (Apple and Windows), industrial workshops, clothing workshops, video and photography sets, professional audio and video editing and post-production rooms, graphic and engraving workshops, etc. It also has cutting-edge technology labs in the fields of additive manufacturing and 3D printing, immersive and holographic virtual reality and digitisation of textile design and manufacturing processes.
Barcelona Campus (EATM):
EATM focuses on the continuous and advanced training of specific professional profiles in the fashion, communication and design industry, in accordance with the current business demand. Located in Paseo de Gracia, the heart of fashion and trends in Barcelona, it offers quality higher vocational training, adjusted to global, open and plural market scenarios. With over 50 years of experience, EATM has trained renowned professionals such as Ze García, Miriam Ponsa, Rosa Esteva (Cortana), Josep Abril and Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, among many others.

Barcelona & Sabadell has a different range of nightlife activities, with various bars and tapas restaurants, disco clubs around the city centre. In Tripadvisor, there is a list of bars and restaurants in Sabadell for students to relax, enjoy amusing moments after classes. Besides, the student can enjoy Barcelona surrounding with many hiking routes, road trip, visit tour, beach day ... held by international groups.

There are many options to choose from for accommodation in Barcelona or Sabadell: from a student residence to a private room, a flat...
To stay in Sabadell, you can take advantage of cheaper housing prices compared to Barcelona. We recommend students to stay in the centre of Sabadell for a more comfortable experience. If you do not have private transport, it is especially convenient to stay near Renfe, the bus station to travel easily to Barcelona on some occasions. Students can choose to rent a flat or a room, which has more advantages in terms of affordability and flexibility. In Barcelona or Sabadell in particular, there are many platforms that help students to easily find a place adapted to their demands.

Alike the last 11 months, the previous academic semester has been affected by covid-19 measurements, making it hard to not feel insecure and anxious about starting a new study. The ESDi staff welcomed us with open arms in September, quickly made us feel housewarm and have been consistent and firm on their academic values ever since. The covid...
