Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program

École Polytechnique's Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program is a unique four-year program that includes three years where students obtain an engineering degree and an additional one year to earn École Polytechnique’s Diploma. This four-year curriculum provides students with:

  • A multidisciplinary scientific training that gives students a broad scientific base (basic sciences, engineering sciences, social economics).
  • Human, military and sports training that allows students to develop their behavioral and relational skills.
  • Specialized courses with advanced scientific concentrations that rival the top engineering schools worldwide.

Admission requirements

In order to be admitted to the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, applicants need to pass an entrance examination in two steps: admissibility and then admission.

At École Polytechnique, we believe that every student deserves a chance to succeed. Our rigorous Entrance Exam makes theIngénieur Polytechnicien Program the best Master of Engineering, Science and Technology in France and ensures that only the best students get in.

Depending on which undergraduate studies applicants have followed and their nationality, they qualify for one of our 4 different entrance exams.
