The programme focuses on the complex, national and European Union regulatory and management systems in place to ensure food safety and consumer protection, and reviews the many proposed future changes in food regulation. There are 4 main themes: Chemical and microbial hazards in foods; food production and risk; food law and consumer affairs; food safety management tools.
