Study culinary arts in Switzerland
The Swiss Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts & Certificate of Higher Education at the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland is an introductory education programme into the world of Culinary Arts.
Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland's 14-month Swiss Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts & Certificate of Higher Education provides students with the key skills and competencies to being a career in the culinary industry. The education curriculum starts with 2 terms, each of 11 weeks, at the schools campus in Lucerne in Switzerland. This is followed by a 6-month paid internship, providing students with valuable real-world working experience.
The final step of the education programme - the Swiss Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts & Certificate of Higher Education - consists of a 3rd term, also lasting 11 weeks, at the Le Bouveret campus. This part of the education programme is offered in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.
These components of the education programme make up the Swiss Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts & Certificate of Higher Education, which is accredited by the Canton of Valais.
The Swiss Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts & Certificate of Higher Education offers small class sizes and hands-on practical kitchens for students to develop their culinary skills to a superb level. Upon completion of this education programme, students may continue on to the Swiss Higher Diploma in Culinary Studies and Foundation Degree in Culinary Arts and then the Bachelor in Culinary Arts at the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland.

Admission requirements for the Swiss Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts & Certificate of Higher Education at the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland are:
- Minimum age: 17 years*
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English TOEFL 500+, IELTS 5.0 or 50+ points on the Oxford Online Placement Test
- Prior work experience or diplomas from other culinary schools will be evaluated on individual basis
