CODE University of Applied Sciences
CODE is a state-accredited private University of Applied Sciences in Berlin that offers three Bachelor’s Degree programs: Software Engineering, Interaction Design, and Product Management.
At CODE, creativity meets innovation. Our goal is to prepare our students to make a positive impact on society. We believe that the world needs more entrepreneurs, creators, and innovators who are committed to making a difference, and we're confident that our graduates will be the ones to shape the digital world for the better.
We teach you values that will stay with you for life and ensure that you experience real-life situations before you enter the workforce. We know that later in life, more likely than not, you’ll work in teams, and we want to prepare you for that.
Our learning concept is based on curiosity-driven education in a community setting. That's why we encourage our students to explore their interests and passions and to pursue knowledge in a way that is self-driven and curiosity-based.
In other words, we don’t just teach you skills to succeed in the tech industry, we teach you vital life skills to develop your creativity, nurture your critical thinking and encourage you to practice collaboration and teamwork with your peers.

Scholarships & funding
How to finance your studies at CODE - Pay now or Pay Later!
At CODE, we want to inspire and empower the digital change-makers of tomorrow. As a private institution, we have to ask our students for a substantial financial contribution in the form of tuition, because we do not get any financial support from the state.
The cost of a bachelor’s degree program is €38,000 (regardless of how long students study). The tuition can be paid in monthly installments which amount to €1055.56 for 36 months.
However, what we cannot and will not do is exclude those who cannot shoulder the financial burden of private-university tuition. To give everyone the same opportunity to come to CODE, we partnered up with CHANCEN eG for the Income Share Agreement. This means that students only start paying after they graduate. They can choose the full pay-later or 50/50 modality.
Either way, their contribution will be a fair percentage (13,5%) of their yearly, pre-tax income for eight years, but only if their relevant income in a year exceeds €27,000.
