Clark University

Founded in 1887, Clark University is a liberal arts-based research university in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts, about 40 miles west of Boston. Clark is a global community; 15% of our student body is international, representing more than 80 countries. The average class size at Clark is 20, and the student/faculty ratio is 10:1. Clark's educational model, LEEP (Liberal Education and Effective Practice) encourages students to take their education outside the classroom and develop the necessary skills to translate their studies into a meaningful return on education.

Clark places an emphasis on active learning: about 65% of Clark's undergraduates conduct research which has been published, receive grants, or attend scholarly conferences around the world to present their work. Clark also has a strong commitment to service learning and has been recognized nationally for its innovative and highly emulated community service projects.

100% of Clark students partake in a culminating capstone project and complete a real-world learning experience while on campus. Clark's motto rings true with its student body: Challenge Convention. Change Our World.
