Program description

The Foundation Degree in Criminal Justice (Policing) will give you the opportunity to investigate the impact of crime on society and examine alternative solutions within crime prevention. You will explore criminal behaviour from the perspectives of the victim, the offender and society, and be encouraged to engage with key issues in the current studies of crime and criminal justice. Successful completion of the FdA Criminal Justice can lead on to a wide range of careers in: Policing and security; Prison service; Probation services; Youth offender agencies. You could also choose to study an extra year to ‘top-up’ your qualification to a full honours degree at a university.
