Higher Technician in Kitchen Management
CETT offers students the possibility to acquire a wide, sound knowledge of the restaurant sector and, more specifically, a knowledge of gastronomic and culinary management in the restaurant business.
This professional field is known for being in constant evolution, and for this reason, it highly values skilled professionals ready to respond to both its current and future needs. It also aims at knowing in depth the strategies to manage, design, organize and set the processes of kitchen production and service taking into account the economic objectives, quality protocols, and regulations for hygiene, workplace safety and environment protection applied to a restaurant business kitchen.

The Upper Vocational Studies in Kitchen Management aims at enabling students to work in restaurant businesses in such positions as owner, head chef or manager of the gastronomic area.
Besides the official certificate of vocational studies, CETT’s students can choose a personalized career path which added to the vocational training studies, the internship and the end of studies project, will give them the necessary specialized knowledge to obtain CETT’s Specialization Diploma in Gastronomic Pastry, Institutional Food Service, and Catering. This specialization gives students the possibility to deal much deeper with subjects related to their vocational studies, preparing them for more specific professional profiles.
El objetivo del ciclo de Técnico Superior en Dirección de Cocina es capacitar al alumnado para trabajar en empresas de la restauración, donde puede actuar como propietario, jefe de cocina o responsable del área gastronómica.
Además de la titulación oficial del ciclo formativo, en el CETT, a través de un itinerario personalizado, el alumnado también puede recibir unos conocimientos de especialización que, sumados a la formación práctica propia, a las prácticas de formación en centros de trabajo, y al Proyecto Final de la formación, le permiten obtener el Diploma CETT de Especialidad. Esta especialización ofrece al alumnado la oportunidad de profundizar en aspectos propios del título que lo capacitan para perfiles profesionales específicos.
