Certificate (HE) in Creative Audio Production & Sound Engineering (CAP)
This groundbreaking, project based, program is designed for music and audio creatives who wish to develop their own creative vision and learn the fundamental technique and skills needed to build a strong portfolio within the music industry, may that be in production, recording, mastering, sound engineering, sound design, music technology or collaborating with the wider music and film industry.
Spend the year exploring the practical principles of studio recording and mixing, audio production, composition and arrangement, acoustics and sound design, as you take on different creative roles in dynamic project groups and gain valuable hands-on experience. Develop a real human understanding of each type of work to ensure you get the best performance out of yourself or the artists you work with.
Admission requirements
A Level, Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate, Abitur, BTEC National Diploma, GED (high school diploma), or other equivalents. However there are additional routes to gain access and Catalyst offers a Summer Course for each HE Level program which makes students directly eligible to start any HE Certificate course.
