Study for One or Two Semesters
You can study at CSUDH for one or two semesters. Each semester is 16 weeks long, and the school year begins in August and ends in May:
- Fall, Semester 1: Late August to Mid-December
- Spring, Semester 2: Late January to late May
International students can sign up for Fall, Spring, or both semesters.

English Language Requirements
Students with the following results may take up to 12 units of undergraduate courses, or a combination of undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) classes and intensive English classes.
- TOEFL: 61 (iBT) or 500 (pBT)
- Academic IELTS: 5.5
- DAAD / European Common Framework: B2 Level
- Norwegian Vitnemal: 4 in English
- Swedish Secondary Education: VG or MVG in English (A, B, or C)
