Master's Degree Programme in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities

Graduates in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities will be able to hold managerial positions of high responsibility involving planning, organization and management of cultural activities and events within companies, cultural institutions and regional bodies. Furthermore, they may operate in the areas of project management, management control, artistic supervision, conservation and enhancement of arts and communication.

Admission requirements

Admission to the programme requires the possession of the minimal curriculum requirements and an adequate personal preparation. Furthermore, the possession of a certificated knowledge of English language at level B2, at least, is required.

Program content

The Master’s Degree course integrates skills, research methodologies and professional approaches from the humanities and economic management fields. The graduates will have the ideal skills to be employed by museums, galleries, foundations and other cultural organisations operating in Public Administration, in the third sector and in the corporate profit world. The lectures, the teaching approach and the nature of the thesis allows you, among all, to make new connections between culture and enterprise, in the critical relationship between creativity and innovation, with significant exchange effects.


At the end of the course, the chosen students will have obtained a double academic degree: a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities and Especialización en gestión cultural y políticas culturales at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín.
