MSc Wine Management

A broad vision of the industry: from financing a wine business to advising a consumer on its choice

A 1-year programme, 100% English taught and designed for world-class students with a non-French Bachelor degree and no specific prior experience in the wine industry, which enables to start a career in Wine & Spirits management.

A combination of sectorial knowledge and management skills

  • - Dedicated courses in wine fundamentals (Viticulture & oenology, main actors of the industry, etc.)
  • - Dedicated courses in Marketing, Management, Finance applied to the industry
  • - Objective-driven learning through case studies and group works in specialized topics
  • - A world famous certification in the wine & spirits education: WSET 2 & 3 training

Immersion in the Wine & Spirits world

  • - Field trips in France (Burgundy, Languedoc, Loir Valley, Champagne etc.): a unique opportunity to see first-hand business activities and discuss challenges with industry professionals
  • - Professional conferences by top managers of the Wine & Spirits industry
  • - Trade fairs (ProWein in Germany, Loire Valley fair in France)

A rich pedagogic content provided by faculty members and professionals of the industry

  • - A faculty of experts: from a Master of Wine to a wine-maker, including several PhD holders

Admission requirements

Academic requirements:
- A non-French Bachelor degree or a French Master 1 in any field

Language requirements - Important note for the Fall 2020 intake:
In view of the current circumstances related to COVID-19, measures have been taken to make language tests more flexible: 
- No language test is now required for the registration file
- Language levels will be assessed indirectly through motivational interviews
- If the candidates have a language test previously carried out, they can attach it to the registration file

Program content

Graduates from the MSc Wine Management will become corporate specialists in the Wine & Spirits industry, with the knowledge required to sell a product as unique as wine, allowing graduates to hold various positions such as:
