Brescia University College

Brescia University College is located on beautiful grounds next to The University of Western Ontario with which it is affiliated. Brescia students enjoy the activity and resources of a large university plus the sense of community that is found on a small campus. Brescia provides academic programming of the highest quality. Faculty members in all fields are respected scholars with an active interest in undergraduate teaching. Faculty research in such fields as nutrition, sociology, community development, religious studies and English literature is innovative and well regarded.

As Canada's only university-level women's college, Brescia University College focuses on the needs of women learners. Brescia students encounter many opportunities to develop their leadership potential and are encouraged to play decision-making roles in campus organizations. Brescia students learn to think creatively and critically and to challenge accepted opinion. These analytical skills prepare women for the challenges of future careers and social responsibilities.

Applications to Brescia University College are accepted year round. The academic term begins in September of each year. In some cases students may be able to begin study on a part-time basis in the summer. As a women's college, Brescia only admits women into its programs of study, with the exception of the Preliminary Year program which is co-educational. All classes at Brescia are open to both male and female students.
