The supply chain manager of the future
Markets are changing rapidly in a dynamic environment and supply chains are in need for innovations accordingly. Therefore, the supply chain manager of the future is competent in a wide range of disciplines. Future supply chain leaders have specialist knowledge on the entire supply chain and understanding of the latest developments. They have the right analytical skills in the areas of data-science, research skills and business intelligence, as well as the right social skills in the areas of leadership, collaboration and change. This is the core of our master program in supply chain management

Admission requirements
If you want to apply for this program, you should have a bachelor’s degree, students meet the educational requirements if they have obtained or will obtain one of the following bachelor programs:
- BSc Logistics Management
- BSc Logistics Engineering
- Bachelor Management studies with a major in logistics (for instance graduation) or a minor in logistics.
Exemptions to these required bachelor degrees can be made and is based on individual casuistry.
Eglible candidates will be invited for an interview. Based on the interview and the documents you have to submit for application, a selection procedure will take place. You will receive an answer within three days after the interview.
English language requirements
You will also be required to demonstrate sufficient results on one of these tests:
- Cambridge C1 Advanced/ Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), with a minimum subscore for Speaking of 169
- Cambridge C2 Advanced/ Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, with a minimum subscore for Speaking of 169
- IELTS test (minimum overall band score of 6.0, and minimum subscore of 6.0 for speaking)
- TOEFL test (minimum score of 80 internet-based, and minimum subscore of 20 for speaking)

First Semester
The first semester starts with five courses in Leadership, Research Methods, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain Strategy, and Change & Innovation. You will have masterclasses during the first semester. At the end of the semester you will take examinations and hand in assignments for these courses. Moreover, you will submit a thesis topic and a graduation internship for approval.
Second Semester
In the second semester you will start with the course of Supply Chain Case Studies. In this course you will learn to integrate and apply the different disciplines from the first semester in several supply chain cases. ln week 5 of the second semester you will start at your graduation company with preliminary research and a research design (course Research Proposal). In week 9, the thesis period will begin. During the thesis period you will be challenged to design and improve a supply chain on a strategical level, to approach and influence the implementation process and to develop a leadership style.

Tuition

In the academic year 2022-2023, students who
- have the Dutch nationality or the nationality of another country that is part of the EEA countries(pdf), or the Surinamese or Swiss nationality and
- have not already obtained a master's degree from a government-funded programme in the Netherlands at the start of the academic year.
pay a tuition fee of €2,209.
If this does not apply to you, you pay the institutional tuition fee. In the academic year 2022-2023 the institutional fee is €11,500.
