What is Brand Academy?
Brand Academy is a private, government accredited university of applied sciences. It was among the first universities worldwide to focus on brands, and still is the only one of its kind in Europe. It is located in Hamburg, which is not only Germany's capital of branding and advertising, but also a beautiful and safe place to live. Not surprisingly, Hamburg is frequently voted Germany's best place for studying. On its attractive premises overlooking the Elbe river, Brand Academy's hand-selected academic staff educates the best future experts in marketing and branding.
Theory & Practice: Best of Both Worlds
Brand Academy's Bachelor's and Master's programmes convey state-of-the art theoretical knowledge while being application-oriented, practical, and interdisciplinary. Throughout each programme's curriculum, Project Partners test the skills and determination of Brand Academy students by asking them to solve real-life branding problems. Recent Project Partners include some of the best Germany has to offer, such as Henkel, Bosch, Beiersdorf, Mercedes-Benz, Bitburger and Jung v. Matt. German subsidiaries of foreign enterprises, such as BAT, Danone, Publicis and American Express, too, have challenged BA students in the past.
Small Groups of Capable Students from Around the World
Brand Academy places a strong emphasis on forming diverse, capable and committed semester groups of students who complement and inspire each other effectively. The groups are kept at very reasonable sizes in order to guarantee intensive personal support. Brand Academy's culture is open, agile and diverse. Hence, students will learn about brand management, design, and communication in a truly international context.
