The Global MBA in Food and Wine is designed to develop leaders and entrepreneurs who will drive growth and internationalization for companies in the food and beverage sector.
Direct contact with companies, entrepreneurs, managers and opinion leaders in the industry will help to develop managerial skills and strategic analysis tools needed to promote the excellence of the Italian agro-food industry.
In line with industry characteristics, this course fosters a capacity to manage area-specific supply chain fragmentation and address the challenge of maintaining high-quality products while expanding on an international scale.
The Global MBA in Food and Wine is designed for those who want to make a significant change to their career or start a business project in this sector. No matter the end goal, this program is the first step to making an important professional and personal change.
The Global MBA in Food and Wine is a 12-month, full-time program.Over the course of the first term, classes will focus on general management and during the second term, students will study specialized subjects. International faculty-lead classes are accompanied by guest lectures of entrepreneurs, managers and Michelin-starred chefs, as well as participating in company visits. This is followed by 500-hours dedicated to an internship at a leading company in the food and beverage sector, or an entrepreneurial work project. Classes made up of students from a wide range of geographical origins, cultures and global perspectives help to enrich this experience with additional stimulation and opportunities for open discussion.
Aimed for persons which have 2+ years of qualified work experience and a Bachelor's Degree ( obtained at least two years before the enrollment deadline)

Scholarships & funding
Bologna Business School offers both full and partial scholarships for participants of the MBA. All applicants are eligible to apply regardless of their nationality. Scholarships are merit-based (both academic as well as professional merit) and cover tuition costs only.
The Global MBA offers scholarships of:
- 35,000 euro (full scholarship)
- 20,000 euro (partial scholarship)
- 15,000 euro (partial scholarship)
- 10,000 euro (partial scholarship)
