Political Science

EUThe BISLA Liberal Arts program in Political Science is a three year Bachelor's course which aims to convey general political knowledge and to develop general intellectual capacities.

Unlike professional, vocational, or technical curriculum, BISLA students only choose a specialization during the second year of study, This is what makes the course interdisciplinary and interactive; It is also what is known as the liberal arts curriculum and method of study.

Key modules of study in this Political Science degree program include:

  • Social and Political Theory
  • Slovak Political System
  • Philosophy
  • Anthropology
  • Political History
  • International Relations
  • Theories of Democracy

All Political Science student must complete an internship program during the Winter Semester (January-February) in order to gain workplace experience before they can graduate.

Course Requirements

Applicants who have successfully completed high school / college are eligible to apply for this course. In general, if you are eligible to apply for any university in your country, you will be eligible to apply for the study at BISLA as well.
