In order for a fashion collection can be successful, it needs talented designers on the one hand and management professionals on the other hand who are able to accompany and steer the work of creative professionals in an economically meaningful way. bbw University of Applied Sciences has set itself the goal of imparting practice-relevant and industry-specific management content from the textile industry in order to establish first-class trained experts in the fashion industry.
In the degree programme of Economics and Business Management - Fashion Management you will learn to recognize important trends at an early stage and are able to implement and enforce them on all decisive entrepreneurial levels up to the end consumer. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Management, you will have excellent career opportunities in a wide variety of areas in fashion, luxury and retail companies, such as marketing, purchasing or sales, with a focus on branding and brand management, licensing and trend scouting as well as design, merchandising, logistics or product and collection management.

Program delivery
The basic studies focus on general academic skills, personal development and competences. In addition, current topics with international economic, managerial and ethical aspects form the foundation of the course.
The advanced studies concentrate on contents related to the specific sector and occupational field. In addition to the compulsory modules, you will decide individually on elective modules in order to follow your personal interests and strengthen your skills.
Two internships form the practical part of the course and can be completed in Italy or abroad. This experience will offer usefull insights into a subsequent career.
The bachelor thesis is the final part of the course and leads to the academic title "Bachelor of Arts".
