About this program

Early Years Initial Teacher Training PGCE with EYTS

Through the 12 month part-time Program you'll develop your professional skills and knowledge to lead the learning of all young children.

You'll spend significant amounts of time practising in your work setting. You'll need to exhibit the capability to teach across the age range. Consequently, additional placements will be tailored to meet your individual needs. You'll have between six and eleven weeks away from your base setting, depending on your previous experience.

This Program is suitable for you if you fit either of the following criteria:

  • You're already employed in an early years setting/early years department of a school
  • You're newly recruited to an early years setting to undertake Early Years ITT through an employment-based route.
