
Program description
B.S. Computer Science
This program meets the needs of both students wishing to pursue a career immediately upon graduation and students planning for graduate studies in computer science. The curriculum is aligned with the most recent ACM/IEEE-CS curriculum guidelines and as such offers a good balance of practical skills and underlying knowledge necessary for adapting to the ever-changing needs of technology.
Admission requirements
Language Requirements
All non-native English-speaking applicants are required to submit proof of English proficiency at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). AAU recognizes multiple tests as evidence of the B2 level proficiency:
- TOEFL (iBT min. 71, PBT min. 525)
- IELTS (min. 6 – minimum of 5.5 in each subtest)
- FCE (min. C)
- CAE (min. 160)
- BULATS (min. 60)
- City & Guilds – IESOL (Communicator)
- Pearson PTE (min. 59)
- IGCSE First Language English (C or better)
- IGCSE English as a Second Language (B or better)
- IB (English A or B at HL/SL)

Program delivery
The first two years are at Anglo-American University and the final two years are at Kent State University, where you will complete a U.S. degree.
Courses will be taught in English and offered in a semester format.

Qualification
Degree: Bachelor of Science
Graduates of the program understand not only the theoretical underpinnings of the discipline but also how that theory influences and is applied in practice.
