Advanced Midwifery Practice (Taught)

The course is aimed at those passionate about midwifery practice and who want to develop their knowledge and skills to an advanced level. Supported by an academic team of experienced midwives students are enabled to advance their existing skills of independent thinking and quickly apply them to their practice. Students are encouraged to explore both how to promote normality during childbirth and how to facilitate care for vulnerable women with complex needs, with the aim of reducing intervention.
