The Master's in Communications Engineering at Aalto University in Finland focuses on the development of communications systems for wireless and wired networks of the future. The education program is designed to meet the growing demand for competence and professional skills in telecommunications engineering for modern mobile, wireless and wireless networks.

Aalto's Master's in Communications Engineering applicant can choose between three main specialisations:
- Radio Communications
Key areas: mobile radio channel measurements and modeling, radio interface techniques and radio network planning and resource management
- Digital Signal Processing
Key areas: digital signal processing in communications, transmitter and receiver structures, multiuser techniques and estimation theory
- Networking Technology
Key areas: internetworking and the use of packet switching technology for all kinds of service in the next generation networks
Admission requirements
Applicants to the Master's Degree in Communications Engineering at Aalto University must:
- Be proficient in English
- Possess a relevant Bachelor´s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university
