The program focuses on programming and software development (systems programming, software development, testing and maintenance), networks, data structures, web programming, and real-time/embedded systems. Students learn multiple programming languages (including Java, C#, C++, C) and operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, QNX). A final-year team-sponsored real‑world software engineering project and elective options (game programming, business programming/COBOL, business intelligence and data analytics) are included. A paid co-operative education (co-op) option with up to three co-op work terms is available (subject to availability and academic eligibility).
