MA studies at Union University Faculty of Law in Corporate Law and Business Organisation Law carry 60 ECTS credits of which – Master thesis 20 ECTS, courses (3+1) a total of 40 ECTS.

The study program of undergraduate academic studies in Mechanical Engineering lasts for 4 years, i.e. 8 semesters, and is equivalent to 240 ECTS credits. Each study year is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits. The study program of undergraduate academic studies in Mechanical Engineering comprises core and elective courses, whose completion provides the necessary academic knowledge and skills for acquiring the professional degree of Bachelor with Honours in Mechanical Engineering (abbreviated: BME (Hons)).

Undergraduate study programme in Economics lasts four years (8 semesters) and contains 240ECTS in humanities, resulting in a Bachelor of Economics degree. This study programme aims to educate the experts possessing knowledge and skills as required by job positions that require the basic knowledge in economics.

The BA English Language program is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills that enable them to perform oral and written translation, as well as to teach English. During the course of the study, students gain language competence at C1 level, master the English language grammar, build general and specific vocabulary, acquire business communication skills (oral and written), learn the techniques of scientific, professional and official translation and interpreting, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge in teaching methodology and pedagogical psychology. In addition, our students also have the ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses in the field of law and business, which is especially important for professional advancement and a successful career.

The purpose of the PhD in Geosciences (Geography) study programme is the development of science and education of professionals competent to do original and independent research and develop new technologies and procedures, thus contributing to the advancement of society in general, as well as to critically assess research of others in the field of Geosciences, i.e. Geography.

To obtain an MSc degree in Informatics – Computer Science, each student is expected to pass all the mandatory courses within the study program and collect at least 120 ECTS. The study program consists of mandatory courses, a set of elective courses and the Master Thesis.
