Murcia is a Spanish city with significant Islamic influence, since it was founded by the emir of Cordoba (and these influences are still visible in the architecture today). The city is primarily a service and university town, and a center for agriculture and tourism, with a mix of public and private universities for students who are traveling to study in Murcia to choose from.
