FINCAD offers their Women in Finance Scholarship in hopes of encouraging and supporting talented women in the field of finance, particularly those pursuing careers in financial asset management, market risk management, and derivatives finance within the capital markets.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to women from all countries who are enrolled in finance related postgraduate programs.

Humber University International Scholarships

Humber University wants to make sure their international students are able to get the financial aid they need in order to complete their studies. Therefore, they offer a total of 20 Humber International Entrance Scholarships to new students commencing their Diploma and/or Advanced Diploma studies at Humber University. Recipients are selected based on high school academic excellence.

Named after Major-General Georges P. Vanier, the first francophone Governor General of Canada, the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship program helps Canadian institutions attract highly qualified doctoral students by means of fully-funded scholarships.

Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation

This three-year leadership program is designed to equip outstanding doctoral candidates with the skills needed to translate their ideas into action, for the betterment of their communities and the world. Up to 16 doctoral Scholars are selected each year.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must already be accepted into a full-time doctoral program studying any of the humanities or social sciences. Applicants chosen doctoral work must relate to at least one of the Foundation’s Four Themes: Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada and the World, or People and their Natural Environment. Applicants must also be either a non-Canadian or a Canadian citizen studying at a foreign institution.

Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program (CCSEP)

Established in 1973, the CCSEP was the result of an undertaking by then Chinese premier Zhou Enlai and Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. The CCSEP is an official exchange program between the two countries designed to enhance Chinese scholars’ and professionals’ knowledge and understanding of Canada. Scholarships are usually for four to 12 month periods of research in Canada, but do not involve formal enrolment at a Canadian university. The recipients are placed as visiting scholars.

ELIGIBILITY: Canada offers awards to full-time, permanent teaching or research staff, master’s or doctoral graduates as well as non-academics in China holding senior professional posts (e.g., judges, broadcasters, economists) so that upon their return home they can make a distinctive contribution to life in China and to mutual understanding between Canada and China.

AWARD: The China Scholarship Council provides a round-trip international travel fee and visa application fee. The Canadian side provides scholarship living expenses and medical insurance expenses during the study in Canada.

Pharmica International Scholarship Program

Pharmica Pharmacy recognizes the financial barriers faced by many students in pursuing higher education beyond high school. Google Lime Scholarship

The International Peace Scholarship Fund was established in 1949 to provide scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the U.S. or Canada.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is for women from countries other than the U.S. and Canada, seeking advanced degrees in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants should have a year of coursework remaining, excluding doctoral students working solely on dissertations.

GyanDhan Scholarship for Indian Students

GyanDhan Scholarship supports Indian students wishing to pursue a 2-year postgraduate course in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand or Germany by offering a merit-based, one-time award.

Scholarships to Study Abroad in Mexico

The Eureka SD Project

The Eureka SD partnership includes 9 European and 11 Latin American Higher Education Institutions, as well as 40 associated partners. The main goal of the Eureka SD Project is to support international education and research. To do so, they offer 315 mobilities for students and staff, each of which has a strong focus on topics related to sustainable development. 

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students and staff from European and Lot 15 Countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Uruguay and Venezuela) that are willing to undertake periods of study, teaching, research, or training at one of the listed partner universities. This includes Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, and Post-Doctorate students.

AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a 100% fee waivers for travel expenses and insurance costs and a monthly allowance ranging from 1000 € to 2500 € depending on the type of mobility.

Boren Scholarships

The Boren Awards fund the intensive study of language and culture abroad by U.S. undergraduate or graduate students. All eligible applicants have the option to either apply for a Regional Flagship Language Initiative or select/design their own study program.

Rainforest Alliance Kleinhans Fellowship

The Rainforest Alliance has a long history of working with forest communities that have established their own locally managed enterprises, providing them with training and technical assistance on sustainable forestry practices, value-added processing, business administration, market access and more. Researchers of any nationality or residence are eligible for the Kleinhans Fellowship; however, the research itself must be conducted in Latin America.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must have a master’s degree in forestry, ecology, botany, environmental science or an appropriate related field. Doctoral candidates or post-doctoral researchers are preferred, although applicants may substitute relevant experience for higher-level degrees.

AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a two-year stipend of $20,000 USD per year to support research that addresses one of the selected topics.

The OAS Master's and Doctorate Scholarships in Mexico

The Organization of American States (OAS) provides scholarships and one-time grants for graduate programs in Mexico, primarily for citizens of OAS Member States, excluding Mexico, with a special focus on Central America and the Caribbean.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens or permanent residents of OAS Member States (excluding Mexico) pursuing master's or doctoral programs at Mexican institutions. Students should also hold a Bachelor's degree for Master's programs and a Master's degree for Doctoral programs, maintain a GPA equivalent to 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, and meet the language requirements of their chosen study program.

The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship

American University offers their AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship to promote educational access and opportunity, while simultaneously enhancing international diversity. The goal of AU EGL is to provide students with the proper skillset and training they need, in hopes that they will return home and use their new knowledge to improve their under-resourced and underfunded communities.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to international students who have overcome various obstacles and challenges, as well as those from diverse and underrepresented global and socioeconomic backgrounds. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 3.8 and meet the English language proficiency requirements.

AWARD: Recipients will be awarded 100% fee waivers for tuition, housing accommodations, and visa application costs. Only one student is chosen for this scholarship each year. Wesleyan University's Freeman Asian Scholarship Program

Wesleyan University offers their Freeman Asian Scholarship Program each year, with the goal of improving mutual understanding and strengthening ties between the United States and Asian countries. As a result, numerous Freeman Scholars have become influential educators and ministers in their home countries, and Wesleyan University hopes to continue growing this number.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is developing Africa’s next generation of leaders. Microsoft created the Microsoft Disability Scholarship in order to empower and enable people with disabilities. This is a renewable scholarship awarded to promising high school seniors with disabilities, who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and pursue a career in the technology industry.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who plan to attend an undergraduate program at a university in the USA, or a university with a USA-Affiliate for financial transactions. Students must declare an approved major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or a related field. Students must also have a high school cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and Require financial assistance to attend college.

Illinois Wesleyan International Scholarships

Illinois Wesleyan University is proud to award scholarships and need-based financial aid to international students entering their freshman year at IWU. The two academic scholarships offered are the Merit-Based Scholarship and the President’s Scholarship.

Fulbright Program 

The Fulbright Program provides orientation and enrichment opportunities to enhance the Fulbright Program experience in the United States. The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) sponsors the Fulbright Program under policy guidelines established by the J.
