The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program enhances leadership among international professionals who collaborate to address local and global challenges, as well as foster change for our collective good. Through academic study and professional development with U.S. counterparts, this growing global network shares best practices and builds expertise in fields of critical importance.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to applicants in possession of an undergraduate degree and proficient English abilities. Applicants must have a five year minimum of full-time, professional work experience outside of the United States. Demonstrated leadership qualities and a record of public service in the community are also required. Please contact the U.S. Embassy, Public Affairs Section, or Binational Fulbright Commission in your country of residence to learn about possible specific program requirements.
AWARD: Recipients will be awarded 100% fee waivers for tuition and other costs at the assigned host university, pre-academic English language training (if required), a living allowance, accident and sickness coverage, a book allowance, a one-time computer subsidy, free international travel to and from the U.S., and a Professional Development allowance for activities.
