Pursuing an MBA in General Management at the University of Exford, Said Business School, in the UK

Vidhi is an economics graduate currently working as a business intelligence associate at Boston Consulting group. She is enthusiastic about socially transformative businesses and data-driven storytelling.

Vidhi's background:

During undergraduate studies Vidhi worked as an editor for the Finance and Economics section in the university’s newspaper. Her dedication extends to leveraging businesses for fostering leadership and growth opportunities for women, advocating for holistic education for children from underprivileged communities, and supporting small businesses led by women of colour.

How Vidhi chose her country of study:

Vidhi chose to pursue an MBA in the United Kingdom because of her career goals in the impact sector, especially focusing on climate and sustainability. The UK and European markets play a key role in moving towards carbon neutrality and promoting circular economies, and she wants to be part of this dynamic environment. Oxford’s global reputation and diverse student body, with over 64 nationalities, are major attractions for her. She believes this multicultural setting is crucial for fostering social and intellectual diversity, which is essential for a meaningful career in social impact.

How Vidhi plans to become a globally-minded leader:

Vidhi's strategy for becoming a globally-minded leader focuses on driving change through entrepreneurial efforts. Pursuing an MBA at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark

Agatha is a computer science engineer with a deep-rooted passion for technology, innovation, and business. Post-MBA, she wants to leverageher business knowledge andtechnical acumen to helm a product management role.

Agatha's background:

Agatha earned a degree in Computer Science and Engineeringfrom Dayananda Sagar University. While studying Product Engineering & Entrepreneurship, she developed a Minimum Viable Product that takes users' body measurements using a webcam on a browser. In her current role as a Senior Developer, Agatha is actively engaged in complex technical operations related to Product Lifecycle Management within the manufacturing industry or technology sector.

How Agatha chose her country of study:

Working with global clients made Agatha appreciate the significance of international exposure, leading her to explore universities abroad. She has chosen to study in Denmark, precisely at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), because of its focus on innovation and sustainability. She is especially keen on the possibility to engage in the Leadership Discovery Process, study Sustainable Management i and work on the Internship Project which will inculcate crucial firsthand industry perspectives.

How Agatha plans to become a globally-minded leader:

Through her work, she has acquired thorough knowledge of the stages of a product, from development to deployment and support. Studying at CBS will allow Agatha to build a network with classmates from diverse personal or professional backgrounds, and connect with people who will guide and inspire her throughout her professional journey. In the long-term, Agatha aspires to establish her own venture focusing on technology-driven solutions for India and the global market.

Julia Kruselburger

Austria

Pursuing an MBA in Sustainable Development at SRH Berlin University of Applied Science in Germany

Julia holds Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering and currently undergoing a master’s program in entrepreneurship. She runs her own start-up company and believes that MBA program will equip her with the skills and perspectives necessary to navigate the complexities of our global landscape.

Julia's background:

Julia has studied chemistry at the University of Vienna and biomedical engineering at Vienna University of Technology. Julia is co-founder and CEO of a software startup dedicated to developing technologies for individuals with cognitive disabilities. She wants to inspire young women to pursue their dreams and take on leadership roles in traditionally male-dominated fields.

How Julia chose her country of study:

The decision to do her MBA at SRH University in Germany was influenced by several factors. During her Masters in Entrepreneurship, Julia received a lot of support from experts in the field of people with disabilities and entrepreneurship at the university. Based on these positive experiences, Julia concluded that by continuing her studies at SRH University in Germany, she could not only further benefit from its supportive network and its community, but it would also suit her personal and professional goals to fill digital gaps and dream gaps.

How Julia plans to become a globally-minded leader:

Already running a business, Julia has recognized that becoming a globally-minded leader requires a set of different skills. She has a technical background and a passion for making the world a place where every person has the same opportunities - with or without disabilities regardless of gender, age or background. Through her MBA program, Julia gained a basic understanding of entrepreneurship, now through MBA she hopes to gain the necessary knowledge in leadership negotiation and all the topics it needs to achieve impact on a societal international level.

Lorena Prates

Brazil

Pursuing an MBA in Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in the USA

Lorena is a technology strategy manager from Brazil. She combines her technical expertise with a strong commitment to fostering corporate innovation and female leadership in the world.

Lorena's background:

Born and raised in Brazil, Lorena has a double degree in Law and Business Administration. She has navigated through her career toward promoting corporate innovation and advancing women's involvement in technology. Lorena has led global teams in creating sustainable business solutions for the largest brewery in the world and as a mentor for young women she guides the development of new technology to disrupt the status quo.

Lorena chose to study in the U.S. due to the country's leadership in innovation and entrepreneurship. Recognising the importance of strategic management skills and a robust understanding of global business practices, Lorena is drawn to University of Chicago Booth School of Business, located in the USA, for its comprehensive curriculum and its commitment to creating impactful business leaders.

How Lorena plans to become a globally-minded leader:

Lorena plans to enhance her role as a globally-minded leader by leveraging the diverse perspectives and advanced strategic insights gained through her MBA study. Amandeep studied Computer Science at the Technological University of Dublin. He specialised in AI, and after his undergraduate study, he did a master’s in Data Science at King’s College London. Since graduation, Aman has worked in AI-related fields as a data science consultant and machine learning engineer.

How Amandeep chose his country of study:

Amandeep has chosen to pursue an MBA in the United States, specifically at MIT Sloan, to immerse himself in an environment that epitomes innovation and leadership in technology and management. MIT Sloan is renowned for its rigorous analytical approach and hands-on learning, which aligns perfectly with Aman's background in machine learning and his aspirations to lead at the intersection of technology and business strategy.
