This program in BA in Slavonic Studies (Russian Philology) Slavic Philology (specialty: Russian Philology) is aimed at training specialists in the field of Russian language and literature. Students will learn how to work with complex texts related to different areas of cultural and social life. The program includes courses in linguistics, history, and theory of literature, Russian culture and art, and regional studies of Russia. The uniqueness of this program lies in the fact that students are also offered a module to study business Russian and business communication. Successful completion of this module enables graduates to be competitive specialists outside the scientific philological profile.

The Russian Studies programme offers a comprehensive examination of Russian literature, culture, and linguistics through two specialised tracks: Media Linguistics and Literature, Linguistics, Culture. The Eastern European and Russian studies program is devised to provide you with a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the region, including its political, economic, and cultural particularities, and to develop the academic and analytical skills that will enable you to analyze, evaluate and assess key political and social processes within this dynamic and exciting region of the world.
