Using diverse modalities of teaching combined with experiential learning and research, the MScOT program prepares future occupational therapists for meaningful occupation-based practice by providing a venue of critical thinking, collaboration, a local-to-global perspective, and a focus on social justice and equity. The Government of Canada recently announced a cap on new study permits. We have been assured that this cap will not affect incoming Master’s or Doctoral applicants; however, Graduate Diploma (GDip) program applicants are affected. The Clinical Epidemiology and Research Management (CERM) field within the Advanced Health Care Practice master's program gives you the skills needed to build and lead research teams, design fundable studies, build and maintain the infrastructure needed to successfully carry out clinical research, and advance evidence-based thinking in your field. This one-year hybrid program means you will study online through asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities and take advantage of networking during two short in-person residency periods.

Master of Public Health programs may be completed through Distance Education on a Flexible full-time or Full-time basis. Those wishing to complete the Master of Public Health program on-campus may apply to the full-time on-campus program. Note that, once admitted to the Master of Public Health program, students are not permitted to change from the Standard Full-time Option to the Flexible Full-time Option, and vice versa.

The Bachelor of Health Sciences degree is a four-year program consisting of a range of courses that relate directly to the science of health, in the recognition that health is a complex entity defying a simple explanation or a single disciplinary perspective. The courses identified within the School of Health Sciences offer learning opportunities from a variety of disciplines, including the life sciences, social sciences, behavioural sciences, and ethics and law, to enable students to develop a body of knowledge and understanding relating to the dimensions of health.

The Bachelor of Health Sciences undergraduate degree program has three majors depending on students' interests. The Biomedical Studies major focuses on the natural and physical sciences. This major would be of interest to students who wish to apply to professional programs, for example: dentistry, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physiotherapy and speech pathology.

The Master of Science (MSc) in Health Sciences is a thesis-based master's program that encompasses two fields of study: Molecular and Medical Sciences (MMS) and Community, Public and Population Health (CPPH). You'll have the opportunity to choose your focus and start conducting research with a faculty supervisor. An interdisciplinary group of research-intensive faculty supervisors will ensure an outstanding degree experience for you. The MSc in Health Sciences will prepare you for research, policy and direct-service careers in the broader health sector.

The courses you take to earn your one-year Health Sciences certificate can be applied to six health-related diploma and degree programs at Lethbridge College and to programs at other institutions.
