Vet Tech Institute offers an 18-month program for students seeking the core skills to prepare for entry into the veterinary care field. The curriculum, facilities, on-site kennel, cohort instruction, and experienced faculty are all designed for student success.

The AVMA-CVTEA accredited Veterinary Technology Program at Norwalk Community College is a two-year, full-time Associate Degree program. Veterinary technology students who graduate successfully from a program that has received AVMA-CVTEA accreditation may take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
