The Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Technology degree program is designed to enable graduates to enter various fields of industry after completing two years of study. Graduates may also elect to continue their education in the four-year Industrial Technology Program. Graduates of the two-year curriculum will be awarded the degree of Associate of Applied Science. The Associate in Science in Computer Information Systems is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required for a variety of positions in the field of computer information technology. The program includes foundation courses in computer information systems and a wide range of skill-builder courses in current topics of technology.

San Jose City College offers an Associate in Science (AS) in CNC Machining and three certificates: CNC Machine Operator, Entry Level Machinist, and CNC, CAD/CAM Machinist. Successful completion of program prepares the graduate for entry into the machinist trade and positions in industry requiring technical skill and understanding of precision metalworking. Most courses applying to degree or certificate have basic language/math requirements and/or course prerequisites. A grade of "C" or better is required in all major, certificate and major elective courses.

Successful completion of the Associate in Arts in Construction Technology prepares students for entry into the construction trades, which require a technical skill and understanding of construction processes. Students planning on transferring to a four-year school should complete the AA Degree, which includes the 39-unit general education sequence of courses. Specific four-year institutions may require additional courses in the major to fulfill lower division requirements. This degree may not transfer to all universities, and students need to inquire of the universities if they have a bachelors degree for their upper division course work. A grade of "C" or better is required in all major, certificate and major elective courses.

The Associate of Science in Computer Engineering is designed for students who plan to transfer to a Bachelor of Science degree program at a four-year college or university. Entry into many engineering programs is competitive, and students are urged to work closely with TCC advisors and university advisors to ensure all entry requirements are met. The first two years of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering can be completed at TCC. Students can earn an associate degree to transfer to a Washington state public university.
