International Studies Center University of Pécs Medical School offers a complex and integrated Preparatory Courses in English for Medical Studies (General Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medical Biotechnology) that meets the language development needs of international students and facilitate their integration into the context of higher education in Hungary. International programs at Hungarian universities minimally require B2 (upper-intermediate) language level and you have to be knowledgeable in your chosen field of studies for admission.

The goal of the Computer Science MSc program is to train Computer Scientist with a professional knowledge-based on solid theoretical background knowledge. The job of a Computer Scientist synthesizes the constructive activity of engineers with the general problem-solving attitude of mathematicians while participating in teams of large-scale projects. Students of the Foundation Year learn the methodologies as well as the programming languages and tools used in software development.

Aquincum Institute of Technology offers foundational courses, like Data Mining and the Structure and Dynamics of Complex Networks. Students will learn about how to apply these theories to the complex task of decoding the human genome, and will become familiar with the IT challenges in computational biology and personalized medicine.

The Advanced Design for Sustainability (ades4s) course offers a one-year highly immersive, co-creative transdisciplinary program to postgraduate students from all backgrounds. In this course, we guide our students towards becoming Thought Leaders in Sustainability whose job will be to influence the actions taken in traditional practices of design, architecture, technology, engineering, or in other fields where material outputs are produced.

The Advanced Design for Sustainability (ades4s) course is a uniquely built transdisciplinary programme training students to bridge scientific and technological discoveries and developments with the needs in society and the environment through design. Our students deep-dive into researching across disciplinary boundaries, acquiring knowledge from multiple scientific and humanities fields, and through their own skill base producing innovative contemporary solutions to the complex multilayered challenges of today.

Nowadays, Computer Science has applications in almost any human field. The discipline has enlarged its sphere of influence greatly, and specialization is more and more relevant to start to a professional career. For such a reason the MSc in Computer Science active at UNICAM has structured its didactic offer over 5 different curricula trying to satisfy the educational expectations of students, and the market. In addition to a set of “up-to-date” curricula, as detailed in the following, the MSc in Computer Science offers many interesting opportunities to students to enlarge their formative perspectives. First of all, by enrolling in the MSc in Computer Science at UNICAM the student will have the possibility of getting admitted to one of the four Double Degree programs.

The aim of the training is to train professionals who, with their knowledge of ICT security network, database management, programming, data mining, IT security and legal knowledge, are able to appear in the commercial sector, effectively take advantage of ICT security systems, apply digital knowledge and thus become part of it. become the ‘digital nervous system’.

The Bachelor Degree in Biosciences and Biotechnology is an interclass degree: it consists of a common first year, where the student is provided with a solid base in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and cell biology, followed by a second and third year when the student follows either the program leading to the Biology or Biotechnology degree. Upon enrollment in the interclass degree, students must indicate the qualification desired (Biology or Biotechnology); however, the final decision between the two program degrees can be delayed to the third year, provided that the missing credits have been fully covered.

Students will learn to utilize the necessary tools of linear algebra, such as transformation between different coordinate systems, and some basic results in physics, some laws of optics in particular, along with the principles of computer graphics, 2D and 3D modelling, animation systems, etc. in the course "Computer Graphics"
