The Network Security and Ethical Cyber Piracy (NSECP) program is designed to meet the high demand for information system security analysts and related IT security professionals across multiple sectors – including consulting services, finance and health care. CCNA Security Certification course intends to equip professionals with the core security concepts and also helps to provide an understanding of the implementation process behind a secure network infrastructure.The professionals will be well-versed with VPN encryption, firewalls, and intrusion prevention by the end of this course. A thorough overview of web and email content security and endpoint security will also be provided. By the end of the course, the professionals will be able to install, troubleshoot, and monitor a secure network to maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data and devices.

The Network Security post-diploma certificate program provides the necessary skills, knowledge and appropriate attitudes required for a career in Network Security. The program introduces the rudiments of networking architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks. It also covers the fundamentals of computer hardware and software, administration of operating systems, and network security implementation. The program provides and implements network security solutions considering the affordances and limitations of the computer operating systems, networks, application software, and packages available. It also introduces and develops best practices, strategies, and processes to protect business resources by applying knowledge of vulnerabilities and exploits. Program graduates may pursue careers as Security Administrators, Ethical Hackers, Security Consultants, and Incident Responders.

Beginning in the first semester, you’ll get real-world exposure through field trips to witness security and protection systems in action. To complement your theoretical knowledge, you’ll undertake safe, hands-on training in our on-campus scenario room to practice different techniques and skills.
