The Technion’s semester study abroad program in engineering and science is designed to give international students a unique academic experience, as well as a chance to get to know Israel, the “Start-Up Nation.”

A summer pre-university programme for teens, hosted at University College London (UCL). The Engineering and Science Faculty immerses students in fundamental concepts of engineering and applied science. This programme combines rigorous theoretical learning with dynamic, hands-on experiences across fields like mechanics, sustainability, and innovation.

Jamestown Community College’s Life Sciences associate degree provides a strong foundation in biological and chemical principles, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking skills. This program prepares graduates for transfer to four-year institutions or entry-level careers in life science fields by fostering a deep understanding of the natural world, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting laboratory experience.

Gain a broad knowledge of fundamental academic areas with Concordia University, St. Paul's fully online Associate of Arts in General Studies, which you can complete in two years with transfer credits. In addition, you'll develop time management, goal setting, and study skills to be successful in future academic and professional work. In this 60-credit-hour general studies program, you'll study writing, communication, and global studies, along with electives of your choice.

Studying a Foundation Year in Science at Kingston University is your first step towards a full science bachelors degree. You’ll complete the course ready to progress to Year 1 of an honours course.

The General Arts and Science one-year certificate at George Brown College is designed for students who wish to develop the skills and competencies required in college, university, and the workplace. As a student in this program, you will explore subjects within humanities, social sciences, and science and mathematics; develop skills in critical thinking, oral and written communications, and career development; and acquire knowledge and explore ideas in a range of disciplines to meet your needs and interests. Students who meet GPA requirements may transfer into the two-year diploma program, which has established pathways to a number of universities.

Science courses emphasize problem-solving, critical thinking, and synthesis of information. Students will practice laboratory safety, carry out experimental procedures, and identify possible sources of error. Students will learn to apply principles of scientific inquiry, differentiate a theory from a hypothesis, and differentiate fact from opinion in regard to sciences. Students will develop the connection of the relevance of science to everyday events and circumstances in a broad interdisciplinary context. For the Associate of Science, students must complete the General Education pattern and elective courses for an additional 40 units. As this degree alone may not be complete preparation for transfer, students wishing to continue at the UC or CSU system should meet with a counselor to develop a transfer plan which addresses all general education and lower-division transfer requirements.

This Certificate of Higher Education in Mathematical Sciences provides the basic skills you need for further study in mathematics and statistics and is ideal if you need some mathematics to underpin your studies in other areas. You’ll be introduced to pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics; using mathematical software; working with abstract ideas; and modelling real-world problems using mathematics.

The University of Otago Diploma in Science (DipSc) is a NZQA Level 5 qualification that enables highly motivated students without university entrance to gain a qualification allowing them to progress directly into the second year of the Bachelor of Science degree.

The Associate in Science, Transfer Track 1 is designed to fulfill the requirements of baccalaureate institutions for transfer with junior standing. The requirement of the degree is completion of a minimum of 90 credits with a specific number in each of English/Humanities distribution, Social Sciences distribution, Science, and Quantitative Skills courses.

The Foundation Course in Engineering and Science is a multidisciplinary program that includes teachings in mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry, along with English language courses (B2 level) and Italian language courses (A1 and A2 levels).
