From refurbishing a small house to overseeing multi-million-pound development schemes, property development is a fast-paced and demanding industry.

This course is ideal for you, if you wish to become a Property Maintenance Operative and are new to the sector or have previous qualifications and/or experience and are working in an associated role, which provides support for qualified professionals. The primary role of a Property Maintenance Operative is to optimise property condition and quality and to ensure the building is kept in a safe working condition. Property Maintenance Operatives need to maintain a high level of quality, providing maximum satisfaction to customers, clients, guests and team.

This bootcamp is ideal for learners looking to gain a foothold in the construction industry, or to add new skills to your employability in your current role. It focuses on everything you need to know about undertaking operations to maintain premises, working on skills like carpentry, painting, tiling, and plumbing. The course is designed to be at level 3 standard, which is at the same level as A-Levels, but it is open to beginners. Employability workshops, including CV and interview preparation and a guaranteed interview with a local employer is also provided as standard. This one-year course will provide you with the foundation skills needed to become a bricklayer. You will learn in a practical environment how to set out basic structures, build brick and block walling and how to render concrete surfaces.

This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to work as a senior civil works designer or para-professional designer supportingprofessional engineers.Graduates will be able to perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities.They are responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the implementation of the client’s site requirements and are required to demonstrate self-directed application of theoreticaland technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements a career in this field can be both creative and rewarding.

The AAS degree total credit requirement depends upon which state apprenticeship the student is pursuing and the governing Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee's requirements; however, a minimum of 90 credits is required for all degrees.
