21 Pilot Training Preparatory Programs

The Course is held under European rules AIRCREW allowing participants to obtain a commercial pilot license with Sep, Mep, and the MCC course. After the completion of the course, you can be chosen for the position of First Officer in any European airline or in countries that adhere to EASA rules.

During the course of our two-year program, an average student will fly 220 hours to gain a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating. Aviation training at Big Bend is taken in conjunction with academic or vocational courses that the student chooses, to fulfill the requirements of the Associate in Arts and Science transfer option and/or the Associate in Applied Science-Commercial Pilot.

A comprehensive selection of ground classes and flight labs prepare pilot training students to pass Federal Aviation Administration private pilot, instrument rating, and commercial pilot knowledge and practical examinations. Ground training is conducted at the main campus.

US Aviation Academy’s Vocational Professional Pilot Program is the fastest way to start your career as an airline pilot. Starting with no prior experience in aviation, in less than a year you can be a Commercial Multi-Engine pilot with an Instrument Rating.

Tarrant County College in conjunction with US Aviation offers the F-1 Visa for the Professional Pilot Program. The program includes your 2-year associates in applied sciences along with flight training to jumpstart your career as a professional pilot. During these two years, you will complete flight training through FAA Commercial Single and Multi as well as Certified Flight Instructor.

The Associate of Science in Aviation-Professional Pilot provides the first steps into aviation for those students who look forward to becoming commercial pilots and to completing a baccalaureate degree at a four-year college or university. In addition to completing rigorous general education requirements, students learn to fly single-engine aircraft and qualify to take the federal knowledge test and practical exam. This degree will serve as the foundation for advanced flight certification offerings, as well as provide seamless transfer degree opportunities to four-year institutions.
