Drawing upon principles of mechanics, electronics, and computing, a Mechatronics degree from Blue Ridge Community College provides skills needed to develop and troubleshoot robotics, programmable controllers, and integrated systems. Mechatronics is suited for technically savvy students who enjoy hands-on work. Students will split their time between the classroom and state-of-the-art laboratories. You may choose the associate degree program which can be completed in two years or a variety of shorter certificate programs. ASU Mid-South offers multiple Certificates of Proficiency in Mechatronics covering electrical, mechanical, maintenance and troubleshooting. You can also earn an AAS degree in General Technology with an emphasis on Mechatronics.
