8 Preparatory Programs in Lithuania

For students needing to advance their English language skills, SMK offers English Foundation. The duration of the program is one or, if needed, two semesters. After completing the program you will bring your language level to the upper intermediate level which is required to study at SMK. The program is available every semester starting Fall and Spring and is delivered full-time.

PhD Summer School focuses on development of key competences required for achieving best results in successful defense of the doctoral dissertation and identifying further research directions. Therefore topics of our PhD Summer Schools include: management of scientific research data, writing of scientific articles, analysis of the subtleties of project management, research integrity and ethics, intellectual property and patent system, communication skills development, etc.

The Tourism and Entertainment Business Industry study program aims to train qualified professionals capable of researching, analyzing the tourism and entertainment business environment and adapting to the changing business environment, modern labor market requirements, establishing and managing tourism, entertainment, and wellness services companies, making innovative decisions, increasing competitive advantage, and developing and organizing targeted service packages. The study program focuses not only on the development of professional special competencies but also on the broad development of key competencies, values, responding to the current tourism and entertainment sector specialist, managerial competencies, based on knowledge transfer and analysis, critical assessment, problem-solving, the application of innovative measures.
