This program offers a full semester (30 ECTS credits) taught in English and is an opportunity for international students to acquire cross-curricular training in humanities and to develop their cultural competence.

The Mediterranean Studies Track is a ten-credit program focusing on the closely intertwined history, culture, economies and geopolitical interests, and environmental challenges shared by the countries of the Mediterranean basin. The Program includes a variety of Mediterranean-specific courses from which students must select four in addition to a required one-credit seminar.

The Peace & Conflict Studies Program at IAU emphasizes constructive and creative reflection, analyses, and mediation of conflicts worldwide. Special emphasis will be placed on how representation plays a key role in constructing perceptions of conflicted societies in the global media.

This workshop is a takeoff track for people who want to improve their writing, either because their work requires it, because of their studies (administrative, translators, university, opposition...) or because they want to start literary creation.

Our world moves with flashes and with small stories that form a whole, and the short story is no less. In this initiation course we will learn very useful techniques and tricks to give our short stories solidity and depth. Count a lot with very little. Suggest. Impact the reader and catch him. Through the writing and analysis of texts (their own and those of other authors) the student will discover their own style and preferences while evolving as a writer.

This workshop will provide us with the fundamental keys to understanding poetry and poetic writing. We will base ourselves on the reading and analysis of contemporary reference poets to, at the same time, discover our own voice, its rhythm, its structure, its way of doing and saying itself.

Writing is a trade that can be learned. If you want to write, you can, but first you must know the techniques of a trade as old as the man: the storyteller. Because a story can take many forms: that of a story or a novel, yes, but also that of a conference, an advertisement or a biography.
