Aimed at French and international students pursuing their studies in the field of computer science and e-health (health tech). The Summer School is a program that immerses its participants in the heart of the medical challenges of the hospital of the future by exposing them to innovative solution proposals based on immersive technologies, AI, robotics, and IoT. It prioritizes ethical reflection, exchange, and sharing with the aim of innovating and proposing solutions to the emerging challenges of the hospitals of the future.

The Seasonal School intends to offer a multi- and inter-disciplinary learning and training experience on the main tools, methodologies, solutions, and present/future challenges that concern the technological, socio-economic, legal, and healthcare issues arising in the so-called Digital Health domain.

The introduction of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare requires an interdisciplinary approach, capable of integrating different viewpoints and steering these technologies toward safe, effective, and sustainable use. The Seasonal School proposes to examine the essential aspects for introducing AI into healthcare from five different perspectives.

The Hearing Instrument Specialist program provides students with the opportunity to study and develop clinical skills that will enable them to test hearing, select appropriate hearing instruments, and dispense these aids to those in need. For applicants with a relevant degree or diploma, we offer an opportunity for advanced standing into semester 3 of the program. As our population ages, there is greater demand for highly qualified hearing instrument specialists who can provide a client-centered approach to better hearing health care. Our vision is to be the leader in preparing hearing professionals with applied and academic skills and competencies. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist program focuses on assessing neurological disorders using diagnostic techniques. You’ll receive hands-on training in clinical rotations in Electroencephalography, Nerve Conduction Studies, Evoked Potentials, Polysomnography, and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring, promoting practical experience.

Not only are Central Service/Sterile Processing Technicians an integral part of the healthcare field, this diploma is a required component of the Surgical Technology and Central Sterile Processing associate’s degree program and Surgical First Assistant certificate program.

The Associate of Science in Health Science (ASHS) program offers a flexible curriculum to prepare a healthcare career student. Professionals who work in allied health professions actively engage as team members to prevent, diagnose, and treat various conditions and illnesses.

The Surgical Technology and Central Sterile Processing Associate degree program is designed to prepare students for careers in the Surgical Services Department as integral professional operating room (OR) team members who provide surgical care to patients during perioperative case management.

The Surgical Technology program prepares students to function in the operating room environment by combining classroom and simulated laboratory instruction with actual surgical clinical experiences. Successful completion of the program allows graduates to take the national certification examination to become a certified surgical technologist (CST). Students may request consideration for advanced placement by submitting an official transcript of coursework. This program does not offer credit for experiential learning. Choose from an Associate of Applied Science, typically a 2-year program or a Technical Certificate, which is usually completed in a year or less. As a condition of participation in SGT119 Clinical I, SGT129 Clinical II, SGT130 Clinical III, students do not receive any compensation from WSU Tech or the clinical affiliate. Students assist physicians during surgical procedures, but at no time are they substituted for health care facility staff members.

The Pre-Allied Health Curriculum is for students who wish to prepare for entrance into a health science program. A minimum ACT score of 16 is recommended for registration as an allied health major.
