Students enrolled in the Certificate programme will study concepts and approaches that are foundational for analysing politics and international relations, and they are able to choose from a range of disciplinary and regional modules that enables them to design a programme tailored to their specific interests. This programme does not involve writing a dissertation.

Since 1945, the United Nations has served as a vital arena for international diplomacy. Our certificate program in UN Studies offers a deep understanding of the UN and how it operates, including the promise and limits of international cooperation. Over the course of the program, you'll become well-versed in how the policy community utilizes — and seeks to reform — the UN.

The Global Study Program (GSP) allows international students from select universities to enroll in regular courses in a wide variety of fields at UC Davis. Last year, nearly 300 students from Asia, Europe and South America participated in the program.

Gain a broad knowledge of fundamental academic areas with Concordia University, St. Paul's fully online Associate of Arts in General Studies, which you can complete in two years with transfer credits. In addition, you'll develop time management, goal setting, and study skills to be successful in future academic and professional work. In this 60-credit-hour general studies program, you'll study writing, communication, and global studies, along with electives of your choice.

Methodist University's online Associate of Arts in General Studies is designed to prepare you for 21st-century success. Based on the liberal arts education model, you will engage with a variety of disciplines as you develop critical thinking, written and oral communication, quantitative reasoning, and research skills. Additionally, the program will give you the foundation to pursue career advancement opportunities or continue your education in a bachelor's degree program after graduation.

The Associate in Arts (AA) in Liberal Studies degree is offered for the student intending to transfer to San Jose State University and obtain a Bachelors Degree leading toward the career of teaching. The program provides an excellent foundation in general education including the arts, sciences, humanities, and critical thinking. Students completing the degree will have completed the lower general education and will be able to have that series of courses certified at the time of transfer to San Jose State University. The major courses also further enhance the liberal studies emphasis for depth and breadth of study. Students interested in transferring to other California State Universities offering teacher preparation programs should also review the major sheet for an Associate in Arts in Elementary Teacher Education for Transfer (AA-T).

The Associate in Arts Liberal Arts: Cross-Cultural Studies degree program is designed for students who wish for a broad knowledge of liberal arts and sciences with an area of emphasis in Cross-Cultural Studies. This program is an ideal choice for students planning on transferring to the California State University or the University of California as the student can satisfy their general education requirements, plus focus on transferable course work that relates to majors at CSU or UC.

Students who take coursework offered by the International Studies department develop abilities to critically analyze and understand global issues and cultural identities. International Studies offers college transfer courses in the humanities and social sciences.

The University Studies Diploma program at Portage College is for students looking to take a full-time program. The Program offers a range of transferable university courses that provide students with a foundation for pursuing further studies and career preparation in selected areas of Science, Arts, Health, Business, Education, and Human Services.

Students of the Diploma in International Studies will be taught English for academic purposes, entrepreneurship, and business plus computing skills.

International Studies is a broad, interdisciplinary social sciences degree that prepares students to engage with the global community.

The Associate in Arts in Global Studies for Transfer Degree is designed for students planning to transfer into several related majors such as Global Studies, Global Politics, International Relations, International Studies, and Comparative Government. Through interdisciplinary coursework, students will gain exposure to the global scope of contemporary and historical issues.

The Associate in Arts Degree in Global Studies for Transfer is intended for students interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Global Studies, or similar major.

The General Arts and Science one-year certificate at George Brown College is designed for students who wish to develop the skills and competencies required in college, university, and the workplace. As a student in this program, you will explore subjects within humanities, social sciences, and science and mathematics; develop skills in critical thinking, oral and written communications, and career development; and acquire knowledge and explore ideas in a range of disciplines to meet your needs and interests. Students who meet GPA requirements may transfer into the two-year diploma program, which has established pathways to a number of universities.

Upon successful completion of the study program students receive an international private Associate in Liberal Studies (ALS) degree awarded by the school's headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, based on the recommendation of the faculty of the local campuses where credits were earned.

Wallace State offers an education that prepares students for seamless transfer to any number of public and private colleges and universities.

TCC’s Interdisciplinary Writing Studies Specialization of the Associate of Arts (DTA) degree provides well-rounded academic preparation, real-world writing experience, and work-related skills for transfer to a wide variety of four-year college or university programs and for entry into the workforce. This specialization is also a great choice for students who know they want to transfer but haven’t yet decided exactly what they want to do with their lives. It is especially beneficial to students planning to transfer to the University of Washington Tacoma, due to UWT’s emphasis on interdisciplinary studies.
