The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts offers comprehensive programs to transform you from a student into an actor that works. Our Two-Year AOS Programs in Film and Television Performance, Musical Theatre Performance, Theatre Performance and New Media for Actors will help build your brand and launch your career. 

Whether you are already working in the industry, studying acting in college, or still in high school, our four-week Summer Intensive Training programs are built to offer you the personalized training you need. Our courses in Acting for Film and Television or Musical Theatre Performance enable experienced performers to work on skill-building, and novice performers to sample the life of an actor living and working in New York City. 

This is an ideal course for those who enjoy reading plays, performing and exploring ideas. You may or may not have studied GCSE Drama or BTEC Performing Arts but essentially you will be comfortable with: reading and performing, discussing and working with others in a creative team, watching and discussing play performances and writing.

A practical, engaging and creative course where you will examine the work of drama practitioners, explore a range of drama as a practical art form, and work independently to create your own performances. You will be given a thorough grounding on the basics of performing and experience the innovative styles of playwrights, directors, actors, and companies.

This two-year pathway is designed for students that wish to obtain an Associate of Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement degree with a concentration in Drama. The courses in this pathway focus on the general study of dramatic works and their performance. Students will study major works of dramatic literature, dramatic styles and types, musical theater, schools of dance, and the principles of organizing and producing full live or filmed productions.

The Senior School Drama department prides itself on having high standards in work whilst still being a fun and friendly environment where pupils will enjoy their time. We strongly believe drama should be an inclusive and thought-provoking experience where pupils get to empathize and walk in the shoes of others.

Theatre Studies and Drama (TSD) is a demanding yet rewarding A-Level subject aimed at students with a genuine interest in Theatre and Drama.

An education in speech and drama not only includes some of the most exciting courses at a college campus, but also opens up an amazing number of career doors.

Drama and Theatre Studies is an exciting, collaborative and practical, as well as academic, subject choice. Some of our students aspire to be actors, but even without this, acting ability is valuable in building confidence, presentation skills and physical presence.

The Drama curriculum is designed for students who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree with a major in theater or a pre-professional degree in law. The degree plan provides a Core Curriculum that will transfer to any state-supported college or university in Texas.

The Associate in Fine Arts (A. F. A.) degree ensures you can transfer to a four-year institution, having already fulfilled general education and major-specific course requirements.
