Our Associate of Arts in Digital Design and Graphics provides a strong basis for either an entry-level position in the Digital Design field or to proceed to your Bachelor level degree.

An SOS-certified course for those who want to acquire the necessary practical skills to becoming acknowledgeable in the use of 3d modeling and parametric design software.

This is an eleven-course program showcasing the most basic skills needed for modern designers. This program is good for anyone who wants to start in graphic design or wants to acquire a new skill set. The Graphic Design program teaches the basic concepts of graphic design such as color theory, typography, and composition, and working with the relevant software.

This program lets students master essential skills and critical software for work in graphic communications. All courses are available in a fully online asynchronous delivery. Graduates will demonstrate applied skills in design thinking, digital imaging, digital illustration, graphic communication, 2-D design, and typography. Graduates will also demonstrate foundational competencies with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Students completing the program will gain cross-platform skills and a complete understanding of the production pipeline (workflow process), including digital video production, interactive presentations, and media for multiple formats/devices and web content.

The Certificate in 3D Design places emphasis on contemporary issues in design, exploration, and experimentation through the experience of a variety of design methods, techniques, processes, and materials.

This course is designed to give students a strong introduction to the workflow of creating concept art for the entertainment industry using professional digital tools. Students will be expected to have their own graphics tablet and computer to handle the software used in class. While this course is designed to give students, who have no other digital art background a strong foundation in concept art skills that will help with future digital art courses, the course does not teach basic drawing in a traditional manner.

Our Computer Assisted Design (CAD) lessons were created with the fashion designer, fashion merchandiser and product developer/technical designer in mind. You will learn basic to advanced lessons including using Adobe Illustrator® for Flats to Adobe Photoshop® for Surface Design.

Animation, Visual Effect and Interactive Content (AVEI), is an accelerated technical certificate for commercial artists in 3D Animation and Visual Effects. Our students find career paths in Digital Content for Film, Television, Video Game Content and more. AVEI is a one-year, full-time program that teaches students to create advanced content, including 3D and 2D graphics. Industry-veteran instructors teach 3D Modeling, Texturing, Animation, Motion Capture, Digital Cinema, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Content, Digital Compositing, and Editing on the same technology used by major studios.
