Instead of spending 2 to 3 years in a traditional course, MAGES offers a focused 1 year pathway dedicated to building a strong, industry ready portfolio. You will learn directly from seasoned professionals, including Kingston Chan, former Senior Art Director at FZD, and train in the structured workflows used in real studios. Through the creation of high quality characters, props, and environments, you will develop the skills, visual clarity, and design fundamentals needed to step into the industry with confidence.

The two-year Illustration and Concept Art Ontario College Diploma program prepares you for the field of illustration and the discipline of concept art. As a student, you develop skills in digital and traditional media. In this program, you develop problem-solving methods, drawing techniques, and production methods for the magazine, graphic novel, or entertainment industries.

The Game Art & Design diploma program is a hybrid of traditional and digital art, right from foundation to specialization. Here you get to focus your craft in creating concept art and assets for the film, game, and television industries, with an equal emphasis on art development for mobile gaming and 3D console games.
