“Aircraft Maintenance Technician” means a person who performs inspections and troubleshooting of an aircraft, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems disassembles and removes defective parts, assembles and installs replacement parts, interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints, tests aircraft systems, records problems and actions taken to rectify them, and maintains an accurate statement of the maintenance history of the aircraft.

TCC’s Associate of Science in Civil and Mechanical Engineering Degree is a state-recognized Major Related Program (MRP) designed to provide a pathway for students who plan to transfer to a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Students planning to transfer to Environmental, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering should also follow this pathway. Aeronautical Engineers design aircraft, satellites, spacecraft, and propulsion systems (often a subset of Mechanical Engineers).

At EAS Barcelona we carry out all the instructor courses, from the basic training instructor (FI) to the multi-engine instructor (CRI) or instrument flight instructor (IRI). We also conduct seminars for the renewal of instructor ratings.

At Centennial College, the Aviation Technician- Aircraft Maintenance diploma offers skills related to aircraft inspection and maintenance. Most of the education is in a hands on environment where skills learned can be used in electrical and mechanical aircraft maintenance, at power plant structures, and with electronic applications.

The program is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. Upon completion of each course with a minimum grade of “C,” the student will be eligible to apply for the FAA examination for the Airframe and Powerplant license.

The Powerplant Certificates of Achievement curricula include theory and practical experience in construction, inspection, overhaul, repair, and maintenance of aircraft structures, systems, and powerplants. The program is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. Upon completion of each course with a minimum grade of “C,” the student will be eligible to apply for the FAA examination for the Airframe and Powerplant license.

Centennial Collegersquo;s Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering Technology Advanced Diploma program provides students with a solid understanding ofnbsp;aircraft manufacturingnbsp;operations, aerospace systems, and UAV (Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle)nbsp;technology. During this three-year program, students will learn to work with KPI's, Continuous Improvement Techniques, Composite Materials and learn a seamless transition through CAD, CAM, and CNC operations.

The Associate in Science (AS-T) transfer degree is designed to prepare mechanical, civil, aeronautical, and industrial engineering majors for transfer to a four-year institution with junior standing. The AS-T transfer degree will generally provide the transferring student with at least 110 credits upon entry to a four-year institution. This transfer degree will satisfy some, but not all, of the general education requirements at the receiving institution. This degree requires successful completion of a minimum of 120 credits as outlined.

Become one of the aircraft maintenance managers of the future. This Foundation Degree in Aircraft Engineering will give you the knowledge and skills you need to progress your studies to degree level. You’ll receive practical training in purpose-built workshop facilities to build the understanding needed for the internationally recognised EASA Part 66 B1.1 licence.

The Course is held under European rules AIRCREW allowing participants to obtain a commercial pilot license with Sep, Mep, and the MCC course. After the completion of the course, you can be chosen for the position of First Officer in any European airline or in countries that adhere to EASA rules.
