The Miami Visiting Program is an academic program for visiting undergraduate students. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking program at a university or college in the United States or abroad.

This four-week program is designed to help international undergraduates and graduates increase their understanding of global issues and learn sustainable farming and environmental design solutions to help address them.

The Intensive English program of UWF is designed to prepare international students for successful study at the graduate and undergraduate levels. UC Davis' English for Science and Technology Program is an intensive program that helps students improve their technical English-language skills and learn to use English more confidently in the fields of science and technology. It is designed for international undergraduate and graduate students majoring in science, engineering and/or technology and adult professionals who want to improve their technical English-language skills.

Students who enter HTIC with limited English proficiency are enrolled in the College Preparatory Program. This five-level, integrated learning program emphasizes English as a Second Language (ESL) studies within the framework of liberal arts subject matter in a challenging, hands-on setting. Students who successfully complete the skills-based College Preparatory Program may apply to enter the Liberal Arts Program.

SAU-ESL is a program at Southern Arkansas University that prepares students with a low level of English for full participation in the university degree programs.

The 1 year “Grad Prep” program is intended for students with bachelor’s degrees in other fields who wish to apply to a Master of Architecture program. The program focuses on the development of conceptual design skills and the assembly of a professional quality portfolio. The goal of this program is not only to facilitate admission to leading Master of Architecture programs, but also to enable the student to take a leading position within these programs. The program is appropriate for students with no design experience as well as students with a design background.

The pre-med/pre-health professions program has been designed to help students meet the requirements for entry into medical school while providing maximum exposure to core science competencies in a liberal arts context. The program also helps students meet the requirements for entry into graduate programs for additional health care careers and can be combined with any major.

Saint Joseph Seminary College offers an integrated two-year program of spiritual and academic formation for students who are preparing to enter a Roman Catholic theologate but who have never participated in a seminary formation program. The Pre-Theology program offers the basic requirements in philosophy and undergraduate theology necessary for entrance into the theologate and provides students with supplemental academic formation, based on the four parts of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which is designed to develop their appreciation of the Catholic heritage while deepening their own spiritual journeys. Designed primarily for the needs of second-career candidates and other college graduates, the program is flexible enough to accommodate the specific needs of individual students. Before beginning theological studies, the candidate must fulfill certain academic requirements. But the candidate must also make a transition from previous commitments, routines, and concerns if he is to enter fruitfully into the total formation program of the theologate. Such a transition is not merely academic but also has broader intellectual, spiritual, human, and pastoral aspects.
